A colleague inherited these map tacks last week and kindly allowed me to photograph them. The copy on the back of the box is priceless. “Graffco map marking products are especially useful for showing complex relationships at a glance”. Next on my map pin scavenger hunt list: a map that shows complex relationships at a glance. I wonder which colleague will inherit that.
I am forced to wonder how you show complex relationships using map pins of a single size and color.
That was my first thought too. But the copy seems to imply other products will be employed (“Graffco map marking products….”). So, I think they may be referring to a map marked up with different colored tacks, flags and string. Still, I’d like to see this map. Most pin maps I’ve seen show pretty simple relationships (if they show any relationship at all!).
